Shipyard & Waterfront Safety

The safety sensing layer of a whole-yard smart shipyard build. Working from the yard's existing CCTV with a small number of added positions covering compartment and block blind spots, VLM continuously interprets the work risks unfolding across slipways, block assembly areas, paint shops, quays and yard waters: work at height without a harness, personnel under a suspended load, hot work without a fire watch or extinguisher, a lone entry into a confined space, welding without protective equipment, falls from the quay edge, personnel inside the danger zone during mooring, and unauthorised entry into controlled areas. Events alert the safety office and area supervisors on their mobile devices in real time, with footage retained and statistics produced automatically, turning yard safety from spot-check patrols into continuous auditing. Yard and waterfront are managed in one scene, so there is no need for two systems.

VLM output
