Resort Immersive Experience

Extends the resort digital twin from a management tool into an experience the resort can sell. Guests take the helm of a canal boat simulator and sail the same canal they have just been on, passing under the bridges and berthing at the jetties; they can also tour the resort in first person and step into the reception lobby, the visitor centre and the guest rooms. The same 3DGS scene and vehicle models support live position tracking during the day and become paid experiences and online room previews the rest of the time, giving the original investment a second revenue line. Scenes and scenarios are produced with Mirra, and boat handling physics and weather conditions are adjustable, so difficulty can range from family fun to advanced handling.

Resort Immersive Experience

Customer challenges

1

Resort experiences are mostly outdoors, leaving little to sell in rain or after dark

2

Boat rides and cycling depend on weather and sailing schedules, so supply falls short at peak times

3

Guests only see photos before booking, and the gap between room images and reality causes disappointment and complaints

4

Wedding and corporate meeting clients need site visits, which lengthens the decision cycle

5

Digital twin investment is usually counted as a management benefit only and is hard to turn into revenue

6

Resorts lack a distinctive experience that leaves a memory and something worth sharing

Customer benefits

A new paid experience unaffected by weather, giving something to sell in rain and after dark

Digital twin investment shifts from a pure management cost to a recoverable revenue asset

Guests see real rooms and grounds before booking, reducing disappointment and complaints

Wedding and meeting clients can survey the venue remotely, shortening the decision cycle

A distinctive memory point for the resort and material guests want to share

Scene assets shared with vehicle tracking and water safety at the same resort, keeping marginal build cost low
