Healthcare Compliance

LinkerVision turns a hospital's existing camera network into a 24/7 VLM-based compliance system. On live feeds it checks that staff and visitors wear the required PPE such as masks, gowns, and gloves in designated clinical zones, flags blocked fire exits, corridors, and equipment access caused by beds, carts, or supplies, and monitors that critical safety assets such as crash carts, fire extinguishers, and AEDs are present and in their designated place.

VLM output

A single staff member in a white lab coat, blue scrubs, hair net and blue surgical mask walks down an empty white clinical corridor toward the camera. They reach a door on the right, pull the mask down below the chin, open the door and step through into the adjoining room, where they are last seen through the door's viewing window.

Customer challenges

1

PPE and hygiene compliance is critical for infection control but is hard to monitor manually and consistently across shifts; blocked exits and corridors are serious safety and accreditation violations that go unnoticed in busy hospitals; and missing or misplaced crash carts and extinguishers cost critical time in an emergency, while manual checks are periodic and error-prone.

Customer benefits

Consistent infection-control enforcement with fewer healthcare-associated infections, audit-ready records, and less manual oversight; egress and access kept clear to support accreditation compliance and reduce emergency risk; and assurance that life-saving equipment is where it should be, for faster emergency response and easier compliance evidence.

Key features

PPE Detection

Checks whether staff wear the required protective equipment.

Obstruction Alerts

Detects objects blocking corridors, exits, or equipment access.

Infrastructure Assets (Crash Carts & Extinguishers)

Verifies crash carts and fire extinguishers are present and in place.

Before & after

Before PPE checked only occasionally, with lapses often unrecorded until an audit or outbreak; obstructions found only on rounds or during periodic inspections; and asset presence checked manually and periodically, so gaps are found late. After — with Linker AI Nexa Continuous PPE checking in clinical zones with lapses alerted and logged automatically, blocked exits and corridors flagged in real time for immediate clearing, and missing or moved crash carts and extinguishers flagged in real time.
